About

I was born and raised in West Michigan, where I still happily reside today. God has blessed me with a beautiful wife, Katie, and three very energetic boys. In my spare time, I enjoy woodworking, reading, writing, fishing, hiking, and rooting for the Detroit Lions (which has been easier to do lately). 

I am a pastor at Ada Bible Church in Grand Rapids and an adjunct professor at Grace Christian University. As for education, I am a graduate of Cornerstone Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI (MDiv) and the Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY (DMin). 

A fun fact about myself: my name is on the Corner Bar wall in Rockford, MI. How, you may ask, did that happen? Well, as a junior in high school, I ate 12 chili dogs with some friends. This is a feat that has resulted in a weird mixture of both shame and personal accomplishment.
